Hello dear friends, in today's blog I am going to tell you what I think about the crisis that is happening today in Chile.
This social outbreak was caused by various problems and abuses suffered by "The people." These include the miserable pensions that are received after retirement, poor education and health, among others. From my point of view, the fact that people go out to demonstrate peacefully is a good way of demonstrating the discontent they have. Due to the lack of control of the situation, the president decreed a state of emergency and curfew, so that armed forces and police circulate through the streets. This was a bad decision, since police and armed forces act aggressively and repressively against civilians, violating human rights, being inconsiderate and without criteria when shooting or hitting people. I think that Sebastián Piñera must resign, since his way of acting is completely undemocratic.
